Stepping Stone Farm (SSF) is a training farm for new growers managed by Joyce Wilkie, a highly respected organic farmer and mentor to many successful market gardeners over her years in the industry. The farm is a working market garden with all associated infrastructure, tooling, vehicles and machinery to ensure a viable market farming business.
The Farm and its program, based on organic and regenerative farming practices, provides opportunities for new farmers to develop the skill set and experience to run a successful farm enterprise, and the knowledge to develop a business plan. With the knowledge, skills and experience these new farmers have a better chance of securing capital and land access, and as a result are more likely to succeed in realising their farming dreams.
Our farm is located on the Clyde River, South Coast (Eurobodalla Nature Coast) NSW. The Clyde River is renowned for its clean water that flows through national parks and forestry areas.
