We kicked off the growing part of the after school hub with Fraser Bayley. Fraser talked about Autumn Planning and Planting- preparing and getting ready to plant for the autumn season. He touched on what to do, when to do it, how to do it and why now is the time to get those seedlings in. We discussed what vegetables grow in the area, and which ones did they want grow. 

The four youths selected their favourites from the list and we drew it up in a plan that makes it easy to refer. 

Alex ESC Sustainable Supervisor,  Jess from Headspace, and Sandra SAGE Education Officer were also present to help choose some cool veg to grow.

After school snack: Corn chips, fresh OMR tomato salsa and local potato and egg frittata.
