Buds 4 Life is an after school hub at SAGE Garden, Moruya
Thursday afternoons after school join us for some fun learning sustainable life skills in an outdoor garden environment.

Every Thursday after school from 3.30 - 5.30pm
Join us at the SAGE Garden for the Buds 4 Life – a weekly after school social hub for youth ages 12-18 to connect with like-minded individuals, learn all about cultivating a sustainable lifestyle, and discover the benefits of nurturing your green thumb and eating delicious food using local produce.
THIS WEEK - Thursday, 20 March 2025 | After school from 3.30 - 5.30pm
This week, Shani Keane from Left Field Farmwill be talking about Autumn Bed Preparation - Following on from last weeks planning session, this week we're going to get into the soil and get dirty. The garden bed has been solarised and it's now get it ready for the autumn growing season. We'll give it some air and a good feed to get it ready for the seeds and seedlings you want to grow.
Bring along your garden clothes and shoes. We will supply you with gloves and the know how.
And as usually we'll have the after school snacks ready.
In honour of the soil, we'll have chocolate brownies with zucchini, freshly picked local apples and pears from Narooma and pumpkin hummus (from SAGE's next door neighbour, Ray).
