Every First Sunday of the month
10am at the SAGE Garden
PLEASE WEAR A MASK
The SAGE Food Share takes place on the 1st Sunday of every month. Residents of Moruya and the surrounding areas are invited to the SAGE Garden from 10.00 am to participate in the food share.
Food shares are a fantastic opportunity to share excess fresh or dried produce, preserves, and seeds and to take home excess product from someone else. If you don’t have any excess on the day of the food share, bring your knowledge or questions, and interact with members of your community… or just bring a smile and swap it for some home produce.
The SAGE Food Share starts with morning tea – tea and coffee provided and there always seems to be cake. If you have a dish or drink to share, please bring it along with the recipe so others can learn to make and enjoy it too.
The Food Share is not about placing monetary value on produce. You can bring and take as much or as little as you would like. When you connect with community and respect goodwill, food is free.
The SAGE Working Bee is also on the 3rd Sunday of the month – you are welcome to join in for a social morning tea from 9.30am, and while you’re there, and you see something you like – please hang around for the food share. And if you have some spare time, you may want to give a lending hand at the working bee. You can participate as little or as much as you like. No obligation, no pressure. We’d love to see you there.
