SAGE Garden Working Bee - 17 Oct 2021

Everyone is welcome to come along to help at the next SAGE Garden Working Bee on Sunday 17 October from 10am to 12pm

No experience is necessary and new volunteers are always welcome.  There are plenty of jobs for beginners and more experienced gardeners and lots of tips and gardening stories to share while we work.

Some of the tasks we're planning to do include:

  • top up the wicking beds with garden soil
  • level soil around the wicking beds and garden edges
  • whipper snipping
  • plant natives into the native garden bed
  • check the soil pH of the Blueberry bed and fertilise
  • fertilise and mulch the citrus
  • relocate the chook tractor
  • general garden maintenance as required

There may even be some strawberries to pick!

To comply with NSW Health COVID regulations, only double vaccinated people can come along, until 1 December 2021. Hand sanitisers and wipes for tools will be provided and we will work to social distancing rules. Please bring a small spade and other gardening tools if you have them.

Every third Sunday of the month from 10am to 12pm
