Beer Brewing Workshop

Beer Brewing with Malt Man

Home brewing is an enjoyable, economical and sustainable hobby.
Saturday, 26 October 2024 | 9am – 3pm

Have you ever wanted to brew your own beer? Or is it time to take your love of beer to the next level?

Join us at Malt Man Brewing where Eric Blue (owner and brewer) will guide you through the process to craft your own beer at home.

Using  only four ingredients - grain, hops, water and yeast, it’s hard to beat freshly, well brewed beer that generates no or little food miles, uses some of your own ingredients, and brings the feeling of satisfaction when you nail a batch.

In this workshop, you’ll learn everything you need to know about crafting your own beer from start to finish.

Eric will cover:

  • Beer brewing basics – the science and process
  • Effect that grains, hops and yeasts have in your beer
  • Raw ingredients – the importance of using quality
  • Tips and troubleshooting to improve your brewing.
  • Equipment
  • The fermentation process
  • Brewing process and wort production
  • Downstream processing and carbonation of beer

The workshop will be held at Malt Man Brewing in Bodalla, where Eric will show you through his brewery.

This workshop is ideal for homebrewers – from novice to experienced, including the curious, looking to improve their beer making process and demystify the complex world of making your own beer.
